Feature-Specific Data: When using comparison view or similar features, we process derived analysis outputs (e.g., side-by-side results, metrics, or visual summaries) to enable functionality, performance tracking, and history access.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
Provide, maintain, and improve our services
Process your design files in real-time for AI-powered analysis. In some cases, analysis results and associated visual outputs may be securely stored using trusted third-party storage providers (e.g., Cloudinary) to support features like dashboard history, performance tracking, and mobile access.
Manage your user account, including login via email or Google OAuth
Process and manage subscriptions, billing, cancellations, and trial periods via Paddle/Razorpay (our payment processor)
Send service notifications, billing-related updates, and product communications
Analyze user experience and service functionality via aggregated analytics and tracking tools
Conduct beta testing and gather user feedback
Identify and verify users for safety, security, and community trust purposes
Showcase user feedback, reviews, comments, and the brands or companies you represent in marketing materials (see Section 2A)
Comparison View: Process, generate, and temporarily store analysis results to provide side-by-side comparisons of design files, track feature usage, and improve product functionality.
Leaderboard Features: Display your selected display name, ranking, and related activity publicly in leaderboards, dashboards, or community features. Participation is optional, and you may opt out at any time (see Section 2B).
Marketing and Promotional Communications: Send newsletters, product updates, and promotional materials using third-party email delivery services such as Mailchimp. You may unsubscribe from such communications at any time by following the “unsubscribe” link in our emails or contacting us directly (see Section 6).
2A. Use of User Information for Community Representation and Identification
User Identification for Safety: We may use the information you provide, including uploaded content and account data, to verify your identity and the organizations or brands you represent to maintain safety, trust, and integrity within the ClarityUX community.
Showcasing Feedback and Brand Representation: With your consent or based on publicly available information, we may publicly showcase your feedback, reviews, comments, and the brands or companies you represent.
Opt-Out and Removal: If you object to or wish to request removal of any showcased content or brand association, please contact us at contact@clarityux.in. We will promptly honor verified requests to remove your information from such representations.
This use of your information is solely intended to foster a supportive and transparent community environment.
2B. Leaderboard and Public Display of Information
When you choose to participate in leaderboard features:Public Display: Your chosen display name, ranking, and related performance metrics may be made visible to other users of ClarityUX.
Optional Participation: Participation in leaderboard features is voluntary. If you do not wish to have your name or activity displayed, you may opt out by adjusting your account settings or by contacting us at contact@clarityux.in.
Use of Display Names: To protect your privacy, you may use a pseudonym or alias as your display name. We recommend not using personally identifying information if you do not wish to disclose it publicly.
Removal and Opt-Out: You may request removal of your leaderboard data or history at any time by contacting us. Verified requests will be honored promptly.
Limitations of Liability: Leaderboard data is displayed solely for community engagement and should not be relied upon as a definitive measure of professional performance or standing.
3. Data Storage and Security
3.1 Design Files and Uploaded Content
Design files and visual content you upload for analysis are processed in real time by AI models (e.g., Groq, Gemini)
While design files are typically processed in real time, analysis results or derived content (e.g., screenshots, visual summaries) may be stored in Cloudinary, a secure media storage service, to enable access across sessions, improve performance, and support new features like mobile optimization and analysis history.
We do not store original source files without user consent, and any retained data is limited to what’s essential for analysis continuity and user-requested functionality.
We do not access your design files beyond what is necessary for generating immediate results
3.2 Account and Authentication Data
We store only the information needed to maintain your account: email, encrypted password (if applicable), or Google account ID
If you use Google OAuth, we access basic profile data (e.g., name, email, photo) in accordance with our [Privacy Policy] and Google’s terms
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and credentials
3.3 Subscription & Billing Data
We do not collect or store any payment card details
Subscription, billing, and tax-related data are handled by Paddle/Razorpay, our global billing provider and Merchant of Record
We store references to your Paddle/Razorpay transaction IDs, plan status, and region solely for service access and billing integrity
3.4 Security Measures
All data is transmitted using HTTPS encryption
We implement technical and organizational safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, including access control, rate limiting, and anomaly detection
Our infrastructure partners follow GDPR, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 standards
3.5 Third-Party Media Storage (Cloudinary), Risk & Limitations
ClarityUX uses Cloudinary, a trusted media asset management platform, to store and serve certain analysis-related outputs such as annotated screenshots, performance visualizations, or image-based insights. This storage enables cross-device access, dashboard history, and improved mobile responsiveness.
Cloudinary is GDPR, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 compliant. All data stored in Cloudinary is handled securely and is not accessible to any other party. We do not share your media assets or analysis results with Cloudinary for advertising, profiling, or unrelated processing.
By using ClarityUX, you consent to this limited storage of derived analysis data to support product functionality and performance enhancements.
While we strive to protect your data, no online platform can guarantee 100% security. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users in compliance with applicable laws and take immediate remediation steps.
4. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services for analytics, authentication (e.g., Google OAuth), hosting, media storage (Cloudinary), subscription management, and billing (via Paddle/Razorpay).
In addition to the services already described above, we also use:
Mailchimp: We use Mailchimp, a trusted third-party email service provider, to send marketing and promotional communications. Mailchimp may process your email address and related engagement data (such as open rates, link clicks, and subscription status) in accordance with its own Privacy Policy. By receiving our marketing emails, you acknowledge that such data will be processed by Mailchimp on our behalf. You may unsubscribe from these communications at any time.
Leaderboard Infrastructure: Leaderboard-related data (such as display names, rankings, and scores) may be processed and stored in our application database to support ranking functionality, display results, and maintain fair competition.
4.1 Disclaimer of Liability for Mailchimp
By using ClarityUX, you acknowledge and agree that Ethereon D Lab Pvt. Ltd. is not responsible for the data handling, processing, or security practices of Mailchimp. Mailchimp is solely responsible for how it manages any information collected or processed through its services, including but not limited to email addresses, engagement metrics, and subscription preferences.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ethereon D Lab Pvt. Ltd. disclaims liability for any damages, losses, or issues arising from Mailchimp’s use, storage, disclosure, or security of such data. We encourage you to review Mailchimp’s Privacy Policy for further details on how it handles your information.
5. Tracking and Analytics
We collect limited usage and technical data via tracking technologies (e.g., cookies, web beacons) to:
Understand service usage patterns
Improve functionality and user experience
Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

5.1 Use of PostHog
We use PostHog, a third-party analytics service, to collect anonymized or aggregated usage data. This helps us understand how users interact with our product, diagnose issues, and improve functionality.
Data collected by PostHog may include device type, browser, session interactions, and feature usage patterns.
No design files, personal content, or sensitive project data are sent to PostHog.
PostHog operates independently of Ethereon D Lab and processes data according to its own Privacy Policy.

By using ClarityUX, you acknowledge and agree that Ethereon D Lab Pvt. Ltd. is not responsible for the data handling, processing, or security practices of PostHog. PostHog is solely responsible for how it manages any information collected through its services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ethereon D Lab disclaims liability for any damages, losses, or issues arising from PostHog’s use, storage, or disclosure of analytics data.

Request Deletion of Feature-Specific Data: Request removal of comparison view history, leaderboard participation history, or other feature-specific data. We will honor such requests subject to our legal obligations and legitimate business interests.
Third-Party Marketing Services (Mailchimp): If you unsubscribe from marketing communications, we will promptly update our internal records. However, because we use Mailchimp to deliver certain communications, some data (such as your email address or engagement metrics) may continue to be processed by Mailchimp in accordance with its own Privacy Policy. 7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
All purchases on ClarityUX are subject to our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Key points:
Subscriptions begin after a 14-day free trial and are billed monthly at localized rates.
Users may cancel anytime via their dashboard; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
Refunds are not guaranteed and will only be considered in rare, genuine cases such as duplicate charges or confirmed technical issues, subject to internal review.
Refund and billing disputes are handled through our authorized billing provider, Paddle and Razorpay, which serves as our global merchant of record.
8. Children’s Privacy
ClarityUX is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We encourage you to review this page regularly. Continued use of our services after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
9A. Chrome Plugin Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The ClarityUX Chrome Plugin is provided as an optional extension to enhance user workflows. By installing or using the Chrome Plugin, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
As-Is Use: The plugin is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Ethereon D Lab Private Limited makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted operation of the plugin.
Data Handling: While the plugin may process webpage or design-related content to deliver functionality, no user-generated data is stored or retained beyond real-time use. All analysis is conducted locally or via temporary API interactions unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Third-Party Website Interaction: The Chrome Plugin may operate on third-party domains (e.g., Figma, internal tools) based on user interaction. Ethereon D Lab Private Limited is not responsible for the data collection or handling practices of such third-party platforms.
No Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ethereon D Lab Private Limited, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any damages, direct or indirect, arising from the installation, use, or misuse of the Chrome Plugin, including but not limited to data loss, exposure, or business interruption.
Security: We strive to ensure that the plugin meets security best practices. However, users are responsible for managing permissions, keeping their browser and systems up to date, and using the plugin in accordance with their organization’s security policies.
Enterprise Use: Organizations deploying the Chrome Plugin across teams should review its functionality and assess compliance with internal governance and data policies before use.
10. Indemnification
By using our services or installing the Chrome Plugin, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ethereon D Lab Pvt. Ltd., its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:
Your access to or use of the services or plugin
Your violation of these terms or applicable laws
Any content you submit or transmit through the service
Any misuse or unauthorized use of the Chrome Plugin
