Subscriptions, Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy forms an integral part of the ClarityUX Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. By accessing, subscribing to, or using ClarityUX, you agree to this policy and all applicable billing, credit usage, and refund terms described herein.

1. Subscription & Demo Credits

1.1 Demo Credits for New Users

All new users receive a limited number of demo credits upon signup. Demo credits allow you to explore selected ClarityUX features without payment.

Demo credits:

  • Have no monetary value

  • Are non-transferable and non-refundable

  • May be subject to feature restrictions, usage limits, or expiration

  • Do not require payment details to be provided

  • Do not enroll you into a paid subscription

Unused demo credits may expire and do not carry forward once expired.

1.2 Localized Pricing (Monthly & Annual)

Paid subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions begin only when you explicitly upgrade to a paid plan.

Subscriptions automatically renew at a localized rate based on your selected billing cycle and region, unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Prices include applicable local taxes (VAT/GST) and may vary slightly due to currency conversion fees charged by Paddle, Razorpay, or your bank.

Countries not listed follow United States pricing.

Pricing, credit limits, and feature availability may change for new and existing users in accordance with our Terms.

1.3 What You Get with a Subscription

  • Design analysis and reports (subject to fair use and credit limits)

  • Engagement, bounce, and clarity metrics

  • Visual flow predictions and heat-maps

  • Multiple review types (UX, SEO, WCAG, frontend code, design system, video & image analysis)

  • PDF and Figma-compatible report exports (availability depends on plan)

  • Access to platform updates and new features

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 Auto-Renewal & Cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly or annual basis unless cancelled before the renewal date.

You may cancel at any time:

  • From your ClarityUX dashboard under Billing → Manage Plan, or

  • By emailing contact@clarityux.in

  • Subscriptions begin only after explicit upgrade to a paid plan.

  • Cancellations take effect from the next billing cycle.

  • Access remains active until the end of the current paid period.

Uninstalling the app, plugin, or deleting your account does not cancel your subscription.

2.2 Credits & One-Time Purchases

  • Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value

  • Credit limits, validity, and availability depend on your plan and may change

  • One-time credit or token purchases are non-refundable once processed

  • Cancellation does not reinstate expired or consumed credits

2.3 No Partial or Mid-Cycle Refunds

We do not offer pro-rated refunds for unused days or partial billing cycles. Your plan remains active until the end of your current paid period.

3. Refund Policy

3.1 General Rule

All payments are final and non-refundable once processed by Paddle or Razorpay, except in verified cases listed below.

3.2 Exceptions (Case-by-Case Review)

Refunds may be considered only in the following situations:

  • Duplicate or failed charges

  • Confirmed technical errors that prevent access

  • Verified unauthorized or fraudulent transactions (with documentation)

  • Regulatory or payment-partner-initiated refunds

Approval is discretionary and not guaranteed.

3.3 How to Request a Refund

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the transaction by emailing contact@clarityux.in from your registered account email.

Account verification may be required.

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Processing time is 7–10 business days

  • You will be notified by email once processed

3.4 Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds are not applicable for:

  • Failure to cancel before a subscription renewal date

  • Change of mind after payment

  • Feature preferences or expectations

  • Workflow or tool incompatibility

  • Differences between current and expected product capabilities

  • Mismatch between account ownership and refund request

4. Fair Use, Global Billing & Compliance

4.1 Billing & Chargebacks

All billing is managed by Paddle and Razorpay, acting as Merchants of Record.

Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension or re-billing if found invalid. Disputes are governed by Paddle’s and Razorpay’s policies.

Refunds are processed in the original currency. Exchange rates and conversion fees may vary by bank or provider.

4.2 Taxes & Regulations

Prices include applicable VAT, GST, or other digital service taxes as required by local law.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect upon posting at www.clarityux.in and apply to both new and existing users.

This policy complies with RBI e-Mandate Guidelines, PCI-DSS, and Paddle/Razorpay global refund standards.
