Subscriptions, Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy forms an integral part of the ClarityUX Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. By subscribing or using ClarityUX, you agree to this policy and authorize automatic billing as per RBI and international recurring-payment norms.

1. Subscription & Free Trial

1.1 3-Day Free Trial
All new users globally are eligible for a 3-day free trial. No charges apply during the trial. By starting a trial, you authorize Ethereon D Lab Pvt. Ltd. and its billing partners (Paddle, Razorpay) to auto-debit your selected payment method upon trial expiry unless canceled in advance. Cancel anytime during this period to avoid billing by emailing contact@clarityux.in.

1.2 Localized Pricing (Monthly, Weekly and Annually)
After the trial ends, your subscription will auto-renew monthly at a localized rate determined by your region:

Pricing is inclusive of any applicable local taxes and may vary slightly based on exchange rates or Paddle's/Razorpay's currency conversion fees. Please note any price change will be applicable for new and existing users. Countries that are not listed in the price table follow United States pricing.

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 Auto renewal consent
You may cancel anytime from your ClarityUX dashboard under Billing → Manage Plan, or by emailing contact@clarityux.in. Cancellations during the trial prevent any charge; cancellations after billing apply from the next cycle.

Your subscription renews automatically each cycle (weekly, monthly, or annually) unless canceled before the renewal date.

One-time credit or token-based purchases (e.g., 10 credits/month packs) are non-refundable and non-transferable once processed.

2.2 No Partial or Mid-Cycle Refunds
We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial billing cycles. Your plan remains active until the end of your current paid period.

2.3 Trial Expiry Reminder
We may send a trial expiry reminder before your 3-day trial ends, but it is your responsibility to cancel on time if you do not wish to continue with the subscription charges.

3. Refund Policy

3.1 General Rule: All Charges Are Final
All payments are final once processed by Paddle or Razorpay, except in verified cases outlined below.

3.2 Exceptions (Case-by-Case Review)
Refunds may be considered under the following rare cases:

• Duplicate or failed auto-renewal charges

• Confirmed technical errors that prevent access to the service

• Fraudulent or unauthorized charges (with documentation)
• Regulatory or payment-partner-initiated refunds
• Verified unauthorized or fraudulent charges

Refund requests will be reviewed in accordance with Section 7.4 of our Terms and Conditions. Approval is at our sole discretion and not guaranteed.

3.3 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at contact@clarityux.in within 7 days of the transaction from your registered email ID. We will review your request and respond within 5–7 business days. Refund approval is at our sole discretion and is not guaranteed. Account verification may be required.

If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days. We will notify you via email once processed.

3.4 What’s Not Refundable
We do not offer refunds for:

• Forgetting to cancel before trial ends

• Change of mind or feature preferences

• Incompatibility with your workflow or tools

• Differences between expectations and current product capabilities

• Mismatch in account details and cancellation request

• Refunds are not applicable for:
  • Failure to cancel before trial expiry or billing date for your plan
  • Change of mind or plan after starting your subscription payment
  • Incompatibility with tools or expectations

4. Fair Use, Global Billing & Compliance

4.1 Global Billing via Paddle & Razorpay
All subscriptions are securely managed through our official billing partners, Paddle and Razorpay, who serve as our global Merchants of Record. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in suspension or re-billing if found invalid. Chargeback disputes are handled under Paddle’s and Razorpay’s policies.

Refunds are processed in the original currency. Exchange rates and conversion fees may vary by your bank or payment provider.

4.2 Taxes and Local Regulations
All prices listed include VAT, GST, or any other applicable digital service taxes based on your region.

4.3 Acceptable Use
All billing and refund requests must comply with:

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. All changes will be effective upon posting at www.clarityux.in for new and existing users. Compliant with RBI e-Mandate Guidelines, PCI-DSS, and Paddle/Razorpay global refund standards.
